I first studied Foreign Languages in Italy and later graduated in Sports Science in 2010. For over 12 years, I worked as a professional Rhythmic Gymnastics coach before moving to Liverpool, where my teaching journey took a new direction. Since then, I’ve worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school, supporting students with Special Educational Needs and English as an Additional Language. I also taught Latin and helped Italian students prepare for their Italian GCSE exams.
Right now, I’m proud to be teaching Italian with Mammamia Liverpool, the Dante Alighieri Society, and Edge Hill University, both in person and online. I teach to a variety of ages and levels, for people who want to learn for fun, for work, or willing to sit a language exam.
In 2023, I earned the CEDILS certification from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, which qualifies me to teach Italian as a foreign language. I’m also a PLIDA examiner and have built solid experience preparing students for GCSE exams.
To keep growing, I’m currently studying for an undergraduate degree in Italian Language and Culture with teaching. I love combining my academic training with real classroom experience to make learning Italian practical, enjoyable, and inspiring. I’m soon going to publish my first book of activities and resources for conversation in Italian!
